Nobody really likes to pack!
Let’s face it because it’s time-consuming, you never know what you need, you pack too little or way too much. We’ve all been there!
To save you some time and sanity, we put together a quick list of our
Top 5 Best Tricks for beating stress before and at the airport!

Top 5 Tricks to Surviving the Airport Check-In By JustineC.

Tip 1 Know where you're going. Like seriously!
Airports can be confusing to have a little understanding of the airport departing terminals, where you should be going and see if you have the option of curbside check-in. It's amazing how many people by-pass this gem of customer service!

Tip 2 Know your bag size and weight.
This is an important one. Make sure your carry on is a standard carry on size. Some airlines have different criteria’s so checking up on your airlines is a must. From my experience, once you find a perfect sized bag just stick to it. I take just the standard carry-on size and a backpack.

Tip 3 Double check your travel documents ID's, passports & call your bank.
Ever get to the airport for an international flight and forgot your passport? How about being in another country with a different time zone and you realize all your cards are frozen and your money-less? Well, being I’ve been in both situations and there is nothing fun about either.
So do yourself the favor and double check your documents before you leave and call your bank to let them know where and how long you will be out of the normal banking zone.
FYI cash is king in most places around the world…. carry some!

Tip 4 Pre-check in online is a must! Use kiosk or curbside check-in for boarding passes.
You would never believe how quickly you can get through the hassle of the airport if you just take advantage of some of the hidden gems they have. Use your phone to pre-check in and pick seats depending on the airline. Headed to a curb check-in works quickly because everyone forgets they are there!
The airline kiosk is my all-time favorite feature airports have now! I head right over, slide my passport or government issued ID and book my name pops up I can choose the number of bags I have and voila you’re set to head towards TSA.

Tip 5 Pack an extra charger, earbuds and a snack!
Earbuds and chargers are the one thing I always forget and wind up spending money on them at the airport and it is such a pain.
So I’ve realized the best thing to do is right before I leave I pack an additional pair of earbuds and a charger.
You may not be allowed bottles or open containers of food, but you can totally pack a snack, candy, chips and all kinds of wrapped goodies!
Remember you are going to be waiting around and traveling for a few hours, plus airport snacks are way too overpriced, so save yourself a few bucks and get your snacks pregame.
Do it, trust me you’ll be thankful!

These are tricks I’ve used time after time and they are awesome! I always have a little extra pep in my airport step. Good luck out there! Travel strong.

Nowadays we are more afraid of being offloaded than being in the middle of a plane crash. I can only imagine the horror it does to our schedule. I hate having to get all my documents again and rebooking. If we don't follow all the little rules in the book, it's as if we are declaring to the world that we are loving ourselves a little and we are giving all these people permission to harrass us. I think I am afraid of travelling now because of some friends' horror stories.

I am afraid of flying. I feel I have heard enough horror stories from friends. Drugs and firearms are being planted in luggages of unknowing passengers. You could get arrested abroad. It's the scariest experience for anyone and for some it's no longer just an experience. They stay that way until they die. To be incarcerated in some foreign country with different culture can be very traumatic. I can't imagine staying inside a cell in a country with serious honor killings issues. I can't imagine what they will do to me, a total stranger, when they are willing and too quick to kill their own children.
